The discussion club ‘Interreligious Dialogue’ meets Martin Tamcke

On October 7th, 2015, the discussion club ‘Interreligious Dialogue’ held a meeting themed ‘Ecumenism in modern society: aims and possibilities’ took place at Tomsk State University with the participation of Martin Tamcke, Professor of the University of Goettingen (Germany).   

Martin Tamcke, Professor, Chair of Department of Ecumenical Theology at the Faculty of Theology (University of Goettingen), Director of Institute of Ecumenical Theology, Oriental Church and Mission History, Manager of Master Programme 'Euroculture: Society, Politics and Culture in a Global Context', Member of the Committee on the Dialogue of the Evangelical Church in Germany with the Russian Orthodox Church. Professor Tamcke has authored numerous books including ‘Live the spirit of the East. Orthodox spirituality and its perception in the West’ (2008).

Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting to be held at 18:30, room 27 (TSU third building, 34 Lenin Ave., 3rd floor). Meeting’s working languages: English, German, and Russian.

We encourage undergraduate and postgraduate students, young scholars, teachers and everyone interested to come join us!
