Course of Lectures "Identity Research: Theories and Methods"

March 13-14, 2014, Oleg Oberemko, leading researcher at the Center for Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation, Assistant Professor of the Department of Sociological Data Collection and Analysis at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (Moscow), will deliver a course of lectures on "Identity Research: Theories and Methods".

The course will cover the following topics:

  1. Interactionist approach to studying identity - 4 hours.
  2. Confrontation design categories “We-They” - 2 hours.
  3. Reconstruction of social identification categories based on qualitative data - 4 hours.

Schedule:

13.03 (Thursday) 18:15 - 20:35.
14.03 (Friday) 14:15 - 20:15.

All lectures will take place in Room 33, (TSU 3rd study building).

Everyone is welcome regardless of specialty and areas of training. Faculty and staff members have the opportunity to take these courses as a professional training and receive a certificate upon completion.
