Student Symposium to be held in the framework of the First Tomsk Anthropological Forum in September 2016

Senior undergraduate and master students are welcome to take part in the Student Symposium organized for them within the First Tomsk Anthropological Forum (TAF) to be held in Tomsk on 15-17 September, 2016.

Topics of student papers should fit into one of the following TAF Symposia themes:

1. Symposium 1: Migration ‘challenges’ of the 21st century (a ‘challenging’ field of migration studies: critical appraisal of migration challenges and international migration narratives).

2. Symposium 2: People, cultures, resources (inter-group, inter-personal, human-animal, and human-spirits relationships in conflicts over resource rent)

3. Symposium 3: Heterogeneous communities in the contemporary world (anthropological challenges to science, technology and society: persistence and endurance of human actors and sustainability of heterogeneous communities in sciences, technologies and beyond)

Languages: Russian, English.

The deadline for applications is 1st June, 2016.
