30th Harax Forum

The 30th Harax Forum themed ‘The political space and the social time: identity and everyday life in the structure of the life world’ is to take place in Yalta (Crimea) in May 2016. The event is organized by V.I. Vernadskiy Crimean Federal University, Kuban State University, and Bulgarian Eurasian Research Centre.

The forum aims to discuss the following questions:

In the framework of the forum, themed meetings of the Harax Club will be held as follows:

  1. ‘The Slavic vector in the cultural-symbolic space of the Russian civilization’.
  2. ‘The Eurasian project: from theory to practice’.
  3. ‘Silk Wind’ and ‘New Silk Road’: space and time metamorphoses.
  4. ‘Orthodox identity and the Crimea’s Byzantine heritage’ (in memory of A.S. Panarin).

Applications for participation and abstracts of papers are to be submitted by 1 March 2016.
