Content Directory of the Informal Section of the “Tomsk Provincial Gazette” (1857-1917)
Under the project ‘Man in A Changing World. Identity and Social Adaptation: Past and Present’, Senior Research Fellow of the Laboratory for Social and Anthropological Research Vyacheslav V. Shevtsov developed an electronic index for the Tomsk Provincial Gazette’s unofficial content (1857-1917). TSU Scientific Library has decided to implement the directory into scientific and educational process and opened user access to the directory on its website.
This directory allows to search by title, author, year, and issue number within eight large thematic groups (divided into subgroups): “History”, “Ethnography”, “Economy”, “Geography and Nature of Siberia”, “Spiritual, Social and Everyday Life”, “Education”, “Healthcare and Medicine”, “Housekeeping”. The directory can be used as a reference guide to the informal section of the “Tomsk Provincial Gazette”, which can be accessed in the TSU Digital Library section.
